- Hey y'all! Well first off I'm Melody Rose and I'm a local here in GS alabama. I created this blog to tell people about our little paradise, Gulf Shores! I'm unbiased, so I promise you everything on here is real and the truth. I will not lie, or make something sound better than it is or worse than it is. I've realized how many people just are in love with Gulf Shores, so I though I'd start this blog to update y'all, let you know about great food (or horrible food), fun things to do for everyone, and soo much more. :)

Don't go to Wal Mart for Boogie Boards
Naturally you would think WalMart would be the cheapest place to go for boogie boards, skim boards, or floats, right? WRONG. The cheapest place to go is the Surf Style shops. They have boogie boards for $3.99. A lot of people end up going to WalMart and paying $9.99 for them, save money and go to the souvenir/tourist shops. Oh and by the way, if you plan on going boogie boarding, make sure to take your sunglasses off. I know from my past mistake of leaving them on, you'll never find them again.

Hello I am from Kansas....I am coming down in 2 weeks and I was curious about where the legit boogie boards are not just a styrofoam one...and plus i was curious where the best beach is too?
